Eaton’s Crossing was truly a river crossing prior to the Lake Gaston project being
put in place in the early 1960s. Mr. Eaton’s ferry was the main lifeline for Warren
County residents crossing the Roanoke River for their daily travels. Today, Eaton’s
Ferry Bridge serves as this crossing. Eaton’s Crossing at Lake Gaston is a planned
community that combines the history and architecture of the past with the comforts
and amenities desired in a cutting edge gated community.
